This door is great it makes a statement on a plan old house

Quite a showpiece that received compliments from the moment it was unboxed. It’s heavy (a good thing), solid and operates smoothly. The color is accurate (relative to the product photo). The distressing is integral to the appeal, though it comes off as a little staged, like pre-ripped jeans. The distressing is on the exterior only; the interior side has the color with no clavos and no axe marks.

The installation was a little challenging but once the door was in, plumb and square it looked great. We trimmed out the front using cedar stained with Minwax Red Mahogany and it was a close match to the door. This door looks perfect on my style of house!

We got this door to upgrade the one that was original to the home. I was worried about the color, but the darker tones in the door blend very well with our chocolate brown furniture and it’s a dark enough color to blend well with our red brick. The iron on the speakeasy looks great with our lantern style outdoor lights and lantern style foyer light. The quality is fantastic. The price was much lower than other options we found. We had to purchase a door jam extension to fit our 1990 home’s door jam width. Overall, we are extremely happy with this purchase as well as the installation job through Home Depot.

This door is exceptional gorgeous. It is all wood therefore is very heavy. Easy to install, it came with everything you need to install it. I have had so many complements on this door, neighbors are stoping to see it.

This door is heavy and great looking. Had it installed by Home Depot a couple weeks ago. What a great transformation to our front entrance. The Speakeasy is great for talking to people who ring your doorbell without having to actually open the door. Everyone who visits likes the door. Ends up being a bit of an investment after adding hardware and installation but it’s totally worth it. Very happy with this door.

I was truly impressed with the quality and finish of this solid wood door. It is quite heavy (140 lbs) and it makes a statement, now that it is hung and in place. The lock set hardware that I also purchased from Home depot matched the hardware on the door perfectly. I am very pleased with my purchase. Shipping from California was free
